Xantia Turbo CT heater on all the time
My 1997 Xantia Turbo CT with climate control has the heater on all the time. Possibly no problem in the UK but definitely a problem here with temperatures pushing 40 C. Could be an actuator problem or a control problem. Does anyone know whether the actuator, which I assume controls a flap which directs air from the heater matrix, is accessible without removing the dash, which I am reluctant to tackle.

Re: Xantia Turbo CT heater on all the time
If I remember correctly, the heat flap servo is mounted on the left hand side of the box near the firewall, just above carpet level.
I think that one of the mounting screws might be difficult to get a tool onto.
If you can get a Lexia onto the car, you should be able to check the operation of the ECU and the flap motor
