Hi
This part is a part of the upper engine support (right side) of the C5. as you well know, it is located above the engine support, connected to the vehicle's body. I assume that its function is to dampen possible fore and aft movement of the engine. please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi, is one of two anti torque mounts.

Yep, in addition its to damp fore and aft movement of the engine allowing the mountings to be softer.

Check also the one under the engine. That one is more affected by the fore and aft movement of the engine.
