So I've been looking more into welding lately and the other day I heard something about boron steel, and the guy who was working in a body shop repair centre said that it's often MIG braised. He also said that any work welded must be signed off for, so in the event anything happened the weld was traceable to him who was then accountable, not the company.
Where and how do you or they get hold of a diagram of each car and what steel goes where? I kind of gathered anything around the passengers and driver is made out of boron steel, almost like a roll cage.
I believe you can normally MIG it but little amounts at a time.
