C15 Engine Oil Capacity

Good Morning....... I am now the proud owner of a C15 Champ 1.9D 2004....... the first job is to change oil and filter and have searched trying to find the engine oil capacity of said vehicle....... can anyone help!? Steve

Congratulations, good choice, welcome to the club
The handbook says 4.25 litres - but whether that's including the filter I can't remember, Ijust put 4 in mine & I'll dip it tomorrow, in the light.

Both figures are given in the Haynes manual - but mine's 220 miles away. If it can wait 'til the w/e . . .


update: dipped it this evening (not been run since refill) & it's maybe 200ml over-full, which suggests 4.25 IS including filter.
