Yeh, it hates you.

test test and re test. consider a broken wire in the main loom due to vibration and age, a make and break contact possibly.

Can you post all the details lexia shows - the short description and the specific variables when the fault was recorded? Also, are there any symptoms you're chasing? Any dash warnings?

Hi Mike,
no dash lights at all.
have a niggle with rain sensor, put another in same problem.
I thought I had turned it off last time I used LEXIA, But same problem persisted.
while in there checked under ILLUMINATION AND The Fault which came up was:
PERMANENT FAULT.
PRE-POST HEATING RELAY CURCUIT.SHORT TO POSITIVE. ??.
PERMANENT FAULT.
2 ADDITIONAL HEATING AND PREHEATING CURCUIT. FAULTY CURCUIT.
As for the other code:
po380::: they BOTH SHOW ON THE SAME AREA OF INVESTIGATION.????.
WILL BE CHECKING THE EGR THOUGH..
Both under EDU FAULT CODE..?
Any help in pointing in the right direction would be more than welcome.
PS: The BEEP on the Stalk has stopped working to TURN on Auto twighlight sensor.
Perhaps I did turn it off after all..?

Well it's always important to tell us if you have done any 'mods' as these are multiplexed vehicles and if you have tapped into any of the CAN / VAN wiring you can affect other systems on the data network (which can be completely unrelated). Always take separate feeds for other equipment and wire directly into the fuse box using a piggy back fuse adapter on an appropriately rated fuse.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Hi Marc,
Yes never thought about the reversing camera, but did put a diode inline with the + From the Reverse Light..it was that or put a switch in..
The Forward and Rear Facing cameras both come off a piggy back fuse in the fuse box.
But the reversing camera was adifferent kettle of fish,it needed power only when in reverse, unless you have other ideas Please.
