another question does anyone know how much 1 spline is worth wen adjusted some people say 20mm some say 25mm
does anyone know for sure?

Well the BOL states that one spline is worth a ride height difference of a mere 3mm, beats me how they arrive at that figure, they even give the example that if the ride height needs adjusting by 10mm then you need to rotate the bars by 3 splines, sounds like one of the biggest lies in the book to me[:D]
As far as I can make out from the photo's, there are about 36 splines on a torsion bar, thats 10 degrees per spline, but because the arm doesn't rotate around the torsion bar's centre, the arm acutally only has to travel about 8 degrees before the next spline lines up, given that the arm is about 250mm centre to centre, then one spline at 8 degrees would cause around 34mm of suspension travel difference to my way of thinking.
