C5 X7 Under body trays

Unread post by C5_Jack »

Hello to all

Could you recommend a company who would supply the under body trays?
I'm looking for the one fitted to the back of the car.

The car is a Citroen C5 X7 estate

Cheers

Which one jack?

Personally speaking, I couldn't recommend any that I have tried - they are poor cheap plastic implementations of the originals, so can only recommend an original. If you advise as to the particular item, I'll get you the part numbers and Citroen price that you can use for a comparison / search.

Ignore the picture of the Saloon, it is the same diagram used for the Tourer.

I would suggest you take a look around at your local scrap yards. I wanted to replace the air deflectors on my previous C5, and they were over £100 each from Citroen. I was able to get two in good condition from a scrap yard for £20 the pair.

There is a fairly large scrap yard not too far from Oxford. ADM have several sites, including one near Thame. I have not used them myself, but it might be worth checking them out.

Hi Marc

Thanks for the picture it is number 6 left and right. the one in front broke a while back which took that one.
The part number i think is 7013FG and 7013FH.

I have sent a few e-mail and no one is coming back to me with cost and availability.

James, thank you for the scrap yard idea, I'm not for from ASM in Thames, will give them, a call.

I need them too, I found some in a breakers at Weston super Mare but the guy wanted £90 for the pair and collection only so I let that go. Mine are the number 5 in the image.

I'm in the Forest of Dean, West Gloucestershire we have our fair share of breakers here but none seem very keen on Citroen stuff.

Part number: 7013FG (Left) £103.44 inc. VAT - Citroen
Part number: 7013FH (Right) £79.69 inc. VAT - Citroen

Don't forget James has a MK I and Gibbo a MK II and only these 2 models have similar undershield parts.

The X7 is completely different and will NOT fit.

I've changed the title of this thread to make the distinction as Jack has an X7.

Jack these can be ordered from any Citroen Dealer.

As for second hand spares - very few available - a few in Romania and places like that, but with shipping will probably be prohibitive.

There are cheap ones available (non OEM) £60 and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, as they don't fit and are totally useless.

I knew she was an X7 (the date was a clue), but I still felt it was worth checking out the scrap yards. I merely mentioned mine to illustrate the cost differences. OK, the ones from the scrap yard were not new (they were in decent condition though), but they were a LOT cheaper!

I bought some bits from a bloke breaking a C5 X7 Tourer last week.

It was his wife's car but it's died due to a combination of leaking rack, knackered gearbox and being generally battered.
It certainly looks like it's had a hard life and it's a 2009 1.6HDi with about 160k on it (I think).
He's in deepest Norfolk and most of it was still there last Saturday. The prices I paid were extremely reasonable.

PM me if anybody wants his number.
