So in having a go at bodging together a bit of a twin tank setup for cold weather veg running I managed to break the plastic right angle piece on my fuel line.
Looks like I'm going to have to replace it.
I had a go at squeezing the one on the filter housing but no joy. I didn't pull especially hard so as not to break it(!)
I'm after a nudge on both ends - the remains of the white one on the left, and the black one on the filter housing.
DW8 1.9D - how do I disconnect this fuel line from the left of the engine to the filter hosing?

Yes, you squeeze them and they should come off pretty easily.
They're made of hard, brittle plastic, so you need to apply both forces(squeeze and pull) in the same place, or risk breaking them.
Given you almost certainly won't be able to get the hose off the plastic connector, it might be better to consider making your connections elsewhere.
