1.6HDi DV6 non-FAP oil

For some strange reason there is no longer FAP in my '09 C3 Picasso 1.6HDi 110.

I was wondering if losing the FAP allows me to use some, maybe better oil, because there is no longer need for FAP-specific oil.

Better to get your FAP replaced / repaired rather than have it shoving lots of particulate matter out that others have to breathe in, then problem solved.

Then get it fixed then we don't have to breathe in your filthy diesel particulates. The engine isn't designed or running in a state of tune not to have the FAP fitted.
