Hi members I am new to this site Our second car is a peugeot 206sw 2003 2.0 hdi ,I need help with finding a part in the engine bay call throttle position sensor
If any member /guest can point out where it is or picture please.

Ok, so there were 2 options, you may have the TPS that is built into the accelerator pedal as per the diagram below.

These are the ‘fly by wire’ type. Basically this is a potentiometer - there are a couple of tracks that supply the throttle position data to the Engine ECU.

If you have this design, then you won’t have the manual throttle than connects mechanically to the TPS in the engine bay.

These can become worn over time and seeing as yours is a 2002 model, it could well have had its day. They are no longer available new from Peugeot, but the part number is 1601N1 if you feel this is causing your problems and need to replace it.

Hi i can not see any cable /mechanics on to the fuel pump so looks like it is fly by We .not very mechanically minded if i google the part number that should find one for me . Thanks
