Hi.
Has anyone changed the sensor and knows where it is? I’ve got the Haynes Manual but the picture of the sensor is different to the one the garage gave me (which is the same as the one for the 1.6 on the previous page of the manual.)
I think I’ve found it underneath and to the left of the gear selector cable but it’s a nightmare to get to so I need to make sure it is the right sensor. If it is, can I remove the gear selector when the car is in P? This will give me access. I’ve had the ECU checked and it’s fine but I don’t want to put the battery on and change the gear to N if I don’t have to - I don’t want the ECU getting error codes again!
Thanks in advance
