Error codes

Post by thebrasso »

Hi there. I have a Xsara picasso 1.6hdi 2007

The MIL light is on, when I read the codes I need help with the following 2 fault codes
1. P0020 A camshaft position actuator circuit. Open bank 2

2.P0095 intake air tempreture sensor 2 circuit.

The Car runs fine..

As usual. Any input is appreciated.

What diagnostic was used because I'm fairly confident your engine doesn't have a cam actuator (VVT)?

With it being erroneous diagnostics, you might be chasing your tail but the second fault points to the air intake temperature sensor downstream of the turbo.
Courtesy of Haynes, I borrowed this pic... IAT fastening bolt circled in red (it's 8mm).

It would be much more desirable to get it scanned with Diagbox if possible.
