The original design called for a pair per nacelle, and they can remain airborne if each nacelle only had one engine running. Plus, NASA were using the basic design for training drones.

Think I'll stick with the Invacar!

...or a Stolly, then sail up the Thames...the only "driving" I'd happily do in London...

That said, folks tend to give you space when you're driving one anyway...
