Please help
I have a 2.2 relay 07 plate loosing lots of water when engine cold. Keep topping up until a steady trickle from exhaust pipe.
Oil level is ok and remains as normal.
When engine reaches temperature all is ok and normal.

Are you saying that with the engine stopped, if you pour water into the cooling header tank, it comes out of the exhaust pipe?

It sounds as if you might be over-filling the cooling system. By 'exhaust pipe' I take it you mean the overflow pipe on the header/expansion tank.
When the engine heats up, the coolant level will rise (water expands), and it needs somewhere to go - so if you've filled to the top, it will be thrown out. There will be a level marker for the coolant deeper down in the tank (look at the Owner's handbook), which is the correct level to fill to. Filled to that level, you should not then lose any coolant.
If you really meant 'exhaust pipe', we're into a whole different ball-game, as Mike says. Hopefully not!
Do provide some more details to put us on the right track with this.
