We are putting an XUD9 engine from a ZX into our Peugeot Boxer. Some changes involved. We have to swap over the pan from the oil pickup on the oil pump as the engine is straight up in the Boxer and inclined in the ZX. We are also changing the sump.
The Boxer engine contained part 4 and part 5, but the ZX engine was missing part 4 (oil pump piston)
The sump from the ZX had blue gasket silicone around it so someone had been in there before us and maybe they lost the part ???
Any ideas ?
