I am going to France next month and have been advised that I need a Crit-Air certificate.
To apply for this I have to state the emissiions of my van. All I have found so far is that it is Euro 3.
They are not in the V5 so has anyone any advice as where to find them?
My van is a Citroen Relay Enterprise 100. L1H1 with the Ford 2.2 litre diesel engine.
It was first registered 12th November 2010
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you, Benita

Re: Citroen Relay Emissions
Post up or PM your VIN and I'll take a look for you. I suspect your class will be N1, but I can confirm the emissions category for you.

I have just checked on the crit'air web site https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ , and if your V5 does not have an emissions category in box V9, then you can order your sticker just using the date of first registration, which in your case seems to give a class 3 sticker.

Re: Citroen Relay Emissions
Where are you going in France? AFAIK (and I have a Crit'Air sticker for the 308) you only need one for Paris, Grenoble. Lille and Strasbourg.
In fact I think you don't need one all the time only when restrictions are in place.

Re: Citroen Relay Emissions
Thank you all for your replies.
Paul-R first, we are staying in Brittany which appears to be free of restrictions,
but are planning a visit to the Loire Valley which is included in the restricted areas and would have no idea when the restrictions were operative.
Xantia 6, there is a section on the application which specifically asks for the emissions.
I suppose I could try submitting the application and leave that space blank and see what happens.
Finally Marc, the vin is : VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]***********
Thanks, Benita

Re: Citroen Relay Emissions
If you are filling in the on-line form (at the link I gave above), when you come to the box for the V9 category, there is an option for "No indication of the environmental category", which is an acceptable answer, depending on the date of first registration.

Re: Citroen Relay Emissions
All I can tell you is it is Euro 4, but as it's a Ford Puma 2.2 DT engine (no DPF), I can't get the emissions for you - there are a load of variants of these engines - so best follow Xantia_V6's advice on the form Benita.

Re: Citroen Relay Emissions
Unless your going into Paris, don't worry. As mentioned they are not needed very often. Lyon is another one. It's only when pollution levels hit certain levels. All the periferiques are free from this, it's only if you enter the city. If your visiting Saumur for example you won't have a problem. Enjoy your holiday, I hope you have AC!
