In order to get at the lower bolts, you need to take the bumper off - but I'm not sure whether you may be able to access the bolt with a partial removal on one side or not. So I've included the procedure for bumper removal and refitting in case - I guess you will be able to determine the access to it when you give it a go - so try on the driver side first and see how you go.
The part number for the Driver Side for your car (from your VIN you gave me last time) is 620644.
A new genuine Citroen one will cost you £389.14 inc. VAT from the dealer..
They say this one is a genuine Valeo one here for £69.99 - it seems a little too cheap for me, as the other new ones on the bay are about £180 ish... but you may be lucky

Re: C5 how to remove driver side headlight unit
I have just acquired another C5 HDi this one is a hatchback, 2.2 but I'm not sure what model range it fits into. It looks to be a fully optioned 2006 build. I have to replace the r.h parking globe for its roadworthy inspection. My 2005 C5HDi wagon has locked me out.
