Windscreen Xantia, source ?

Unread post by Stickyfinger »

Does anybody have a source for a new screen, I cannot seem to find anybody. (mine has lots of "little marks" making the low sun a bit of a pain)

I just tried Autoglass from the Reg in one of your pictures and I pretended there was a crack - which in non-repairable and after a few seconds of thinking, it confirmed a replacement was needed and identified as correct. So maybe worth contacting them:

Surprised if you can't get one via a standard windscreen repair place?

But if they really can't... Then this lot will make you one;

(but a one-off wouldn't be cheap)

Probably Ladaw.

That's the trade part of Autoglass (supplies Autoglass and others). They don't deal direct with retail customers.

Couple of weeks ago, struggled a little to find a new XM windscreen in Spain, on a supply-only (not fit) basis. Autoglass (=Carglass in Spain) had XM screens, but would only supply-and-fit.
Came across these folk:
http://www.mrwindscreen.ie/international/index.php
who have partners all over the place.
The Spanish one (Relarsa) obtained the correctly tinted screen for the next day. Manufactured by NordGlass, in Poland.

This is a long shot seeing as you’ve not been active for over 2 years.

Did you fit it yourself? If so, will they deal with a VAT registered company for purchase?
