Citroen dispatch 1.9D losing power
I have a Citroen dispatch. About a couple of weeks ago it started pulling back a little here and there. This has got worse over the last week. I have just changed the fuel filter, as it looked dirty. Just took it round the block and it doesn't seem to have made any difference. It starts easily, and idles perfectly, although does sound a little noisier, unless it is just my imagination, as I am listening for problems. I would very much appreciate some advice please.

Is this the non turbocharged engine?
If so then fuel supply has to be the main culprit I would have thought

Re: Citroen dispatch 1.9D losing power
I'm with EDC on it being related to fuel delivery. My 405 did something similar, with a marked occasional loss of power, on two completely separate occasions, years apart, one was a seal in the pump, t 'other was a fuel pipe; both meant that air was getting into the system causing poor running.
Don't forget to check the pipework all the way back to the tank. The simplest things are only simple if you spot them !!
