C4 Wheels

Post by M1kbee »

Hello all,

Someone very kindly drove into the back of my C4 Grand Picasso and now it has been written off by the insurance company.

I have been looking at a regular C4 as a replacement when I finally get the pay out.

The one I have been looking at has steel wheels on though. I am wondering if they would be a straight swap?

Does anyone know?

Hi and welcome.

You may have to change the bolts for the wheels as there are several types - the alloy bolts have a tapered edge so that the spare steel wheel can be put on (except for the Grand Picasso Exclusive that doesn't use a spare wheel, but a gunk tyre inflater) and the alloy wheel fits flat. So I'm not sure whether this is designed as a permanent solution or just for use of an emergency spare. Citroen will tell you to fit a new set of bolts for alloy wheels (unless you have access to those from the old vehicle), but if you have the VIN from your original car I can see what the options were - as we don't know exactly the model year and fittment you have.
