Xantia 2 with A/C: What is this radiator for?

Xantia 2 with A/C: What is this radiator for?
Yesterday I took the pollen filter out. While I was at it, I took a peek as to what is inside its housing. I found this radiator in there. Is it from the A/C or is it the heater matrix? I have never seen it before. My understanding is that the heater matrix (on a/c Xantias) is positioned in the middle of the dashboard, behind/near the main air vents.
