I don't know if anyone can help ,but I need a part number for a c3 puriel and I can't seem to find service citroen so I can't use malcolm a count to find the part number . I am look for the part number for the bonnet catch mechanism with leaver it is a 2005 plate

I have just looked on my PC, and the part number for the bonnet lock is 7934 67. I would wait until somebody with Service Citroen can confirm my findings though.

This comes in 2 parts depending what you need. Number (2) is the locking mechanism that appears to contain the lever, part number and is £28 from Citroen.
The actual cable part that goes back into the cabin is part (11), part number 7937 J9 for the right hand drive version and £28.75 from Citroen. For the left hand drive it is
part 7937 P5 and is £33. All inclusive of VAT.

For the small price difference in a second hand one that has been worn and used I would personally opt for a new genuine one for the sake of a few pounds. Put plenty of grease on the mechanism before fitting and also spray some silicon oil onto the wire if not replacing that part.
