Hello all,
I have a 54 (2004) Peugeot 307 which the headlight cluster is loose due to the top mounting bracket being snapped and also the bracket behind the front grill, so looking at replacing the whole unit.
From what I've managed to research myself its a pain to get at to remove. I'm seeing things like needing 10mm socket, T20/30 torx, flat driver/pry tool and the need to completely remove the front bumper.
Has anyone done this before that could give me a somewhat detailed guide in a how to. I'm not a mechanic by any stretch but have done a few things before like track rod ends and hand brake cables, so not really afraid to get my hands dirty. (what sort of difficulty rating has this got)
Many thanks in advance

Re: Peugeot 307 Headlight unit removal
I cant help with detail of the job but it wouldn't surprise me to know that the front bumper needs removing. It was so on the Xsara because the headlamp had two fixings along the lower edge. Also the cross member had to be loosened and lowered at one side to reach the fixings. They don't make it easy!!!

Re: Peugeot 307 Headlight unit removal
Thank you for the replies, I finally got in touch with a family friend come mechanic, and he's pretty much confirmed what I thought anyway, Might not have to remove the bumper completely but loosen it enough to get access to the two lower bolts of the unit.
If I end up doing this myself I'll get some pictures.
