C5 key help please.

Hi.
I need to obtain the key transponder code so I can get a spare key for my car.
Can I get the code using Lexia 3 or is it a dealer job only?
If I can use Lexia 3, could I have instructions on how to please.

No you can't get the code using Lexia - go to your dealer - take your Vehicle registration document and some ID, and they will be able to get this for you for a nominal fee of about £15. For this fee you should also ask for the key serial number and the customer confidential code which is what is normally on the plastic card given to the owner when new.
