C5 X7 2.0hdi automatic gearbox type

Can someone please confirm whether the 2.0hdi automatic gearbox and torque converter is the same as the 2.2, 2.7 or 3.0 version?

For the AM6 units, there are different versions depending on the Euro Standards and secondly each are programmed differently for the varying engines, resulting in different torque converter ranges.
Engine types to 2013: where the outputs differ:
XFV UHZ X8Z RHR 4HL

Then there is the AT6 Automatic.... which can handle less torque (300Nm) compared to the 450Nm of the AM6.

So will my 2013 1/2 2.0hdi with 6 speed auto box have the AM6 unit capable of coping with 450nm? And that the AM6 unit is essentially the same between 2.0, 2.7 and 3.0 diesels?
I believe the AT6 is used on petrol engined cats?

The AM6 boxes all have different part numbers AND have different model markings on the box depending on engine type and Euro standards. So if You are replacing one you should find one from the same engine type.

If you need to know the part number for your car I’ll need the VIN.
