Actually my success rate was much lower tonight compared to last week. I usually do quite well on the missing vowels round but they beat me almost every time.

Earlier on I got Chad, couriers and M-names but overall quite poor for me.

Yes you are right, I have corrected it....got carried away...it was the University Challenge Final after!

and the pickled egg jukebox helped out there.....both of the teams with all their combined brainpower didn't know "You'll never walk alone" came from Carousel....bullseye for me!

Roy Hamilton who recorded the version I posted up is well worth listening too. Very talented guy..quite Elvis-like in some of his recordings, and Elvis was by all accounts a huge fan of Roy Hamilton.

The Final!

Nice appearance of the "current" Swingles.......a tribute to the "originals" I have placed on the Pickled Egg Jukebox.

If you know your cars you probably would have done better on the connecting walls than the finalists.
