Pluriel 2004 - Tailgate will not open

Good day,

Please can anyone instruct me how to open the tailgate since the push-lock is not working and therefore I cannot access the boot?

Check your handbook - my C5 tailgate has a manual unlatching option accessed by pushing a rod through a small hole in the interior trim (at the bottom middle near the lock).

This is relevant to me, following a conversation with a friend who had the same problem.

You tube came up with this, and his particular problem was a microswitch not making the appropriate contact
