Radiator fans and speedo on "T"

Post by c.morewood »

I'm trying to get "T" (ex Ecohouse) back on the road after 18 months sitting on my drive. Surprisingly enough she seems to be fairly ok. and in much better condition than "V" which I'm going to have to take off the road for some work. In getting "T" ready for the MOT all I've really had to do is chisel away the rust on the brakes and put a new battery in.. remarkable for the length of time she's sat.
However she still has the problems with at least one of the radiator fans running just after the ignition is turned on until its turned off.
viewtopic.php?t=52323 and to my knowlege nothing worked to solve the issue although a lot of things were tried and failed.
And I discovered today when idling in the garage, the speedo needle rises and falls randomly to about 20mph.
I was wondering if anyone else had come across these problems and had found a solution?
