Our little unscientific thread Have you spottted an 18 Reg yet? has proved to be fairly prophetic.

SMMT have today released their new car sales for March 2018 and its 15% down on 12 months ago. Diesels down 40%.

The first media coverage I heard was on my radio alarm which "Wakes me up to money" on Radio 5 Live. Surprisingly I didn't get too irritated at the spokesperson...a former chief of the SMMT Christopher McGowan who spoke quite sensibly. Micky Clark as usual filled that role with his "interjections".

Not quite "leading the world" yet Theresa!

Still those Motor Manufacturers and Traders have plenty of conventional stock to shift, to put too much effort into flogging EV's.
