wiper blades

is it true that the xantia uses two different sizes of wiper blades for the windscreen whilst most other cars use two of the same size.

Yes the Xantia uses longer blade for the driver side and shorter for the passenger. This way a wider area is covered in front of the driver. Most moder cars use different blades though.

Its seems to be the norm now.
I'm pretty sure the Mondeo I had for a while as a company car had different size blades. The Peugeot 206, Fiat Punto, Landrover Freelander and a lot of others do too.
