Hi Guys,
Looking at the instructions for replacement it seems to suggest the piston is pushed back in rather than wound back in on the X7 ( mine is 2011 )
Anyone tried / Is that the case ?
Thanks in advance for replies

Hi
On the C5 X7 you have both systems. On the front calipers, the pistons are pushed back, whether TVES or TRW makes.
It is the rears that require the 'Wind Back' tool. and this is rotated clockwise to wind them in.

Re: C5 X7 Front Pads
I've just done the rears on my X7 and I used the jaws of a medium sized pair Mole/Vise grips which just fitted in. These jaws were straight and shaped a bit like a large crocodile clip.GiveMeABreak wrote: 03 Apr 2018, 18:00It is the rears that require the 'Wind Back' tool. and this is rotated clockwise to wind them in.
