Peugeot 307 Gearbox compitabilaty

My car gearbox need to be replaced Peugeot 307 2008 1.6 Petrol, Can any one help me find another gearbox type that can fit my car for example Peugeot 301 , here my VIN Number VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] , if you can provide me with versions can fitted my car.

It's fitted with an AL4 auto box. The part number from Peugeot is 2222VX, and this only directly corresponds to the 307 and Citroen C4. However, the box is widely used so it may be possible that one from another car will fit, even if the ratios are slightly off. What's wrong with it? The usual problem with these is that the valve solenoids start to give trouble, resulting in poor gear selection. This can rectified with new valves (at about 400 GBP here, not sure what it would be in Egypt!). 301 is not available here in UK, but appears to use a different box in any case.

Thanks alot, my gear have oil sealing and faults appears and I fix it many times one of it i replaced solenoids so I got poor and want to be replaced, also I want to replace with newer product 2013 or 2015 because my car 2008 ( less age )

One more clarification all years of C4 for example 2014 fit.

The transmission control ECU will probably detect if a transmission with different ratios is fitted, and go into limp mode, so you really need to find a transmission of the original type from a car with exactly the same engine type.

You certainly cannot fit a much more modern transmission and expect it to work.
