So "France's richest man" wants 37,500 euros for it.

Well I reckon I could put in a cheeky offer. Not six bottles of wine like my bargain basement Clio, but one bottle of wine.

I think he would appreciate the cheek and may even throw in some car mats and a full tank of fuel :-D

I reckon he would let it go for one of his "own" bottles of wine.

A Dom Perignon 1959 Vintage Rose Champagne..he wouldn't even realise that I would have ripped him off!

If it's truly armoured it'll be incredibly heavy, have about as much go as an elderly snail and handle like a wheelbarrow with a flat tyre!

:rofl2: Yes, but unlike the Maxi you'll be easily able to change gear!

not sure it's actually 'him' as such, in one of the links in the link i think it states being sold by a dealer/trader?
https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... hd/8386652

i'll revise that after a quick shufty

'Mr Arnault used his lovely 205 GTI as a daily driver for some years before it was putted into storage in his collection, he only sold it in 2009 to a collector. It was recently serviced and works perfectly, the driving is excellent despite its weight, nearing 1400kg. The original milage is 14700km and the car’s condition could only be described as being immaculate.
It is still registered at Mr Arnault's name and this is a unique opportunity to acquire one of the most amazing version, of the mythical Peugeot 205 GTI. '

hmmmmm??

Mythical? What exactly is mythical about a 205GTi? Legendary might be a better term ;)

Legendary they most definitely are :D
