1999 Mk ll Xantia 110. I am following the guide kindly supplied by c.morewood to fix dashboard lights and stuck rev-counter needle. But how exactly to unplug the switches on the facia bar? I've undone all the screws and the bar is ready to come off, but the first switch I look at (for muting the alarm) is kind of hidden behind the bar and I can't see the retaining clips on the plastic moulding to remove the wiring plug. I assume they are all the same. Is it the squeeze-me-both-sides type, or the lift-me-one-side type, or the snatch-me type? I don't want to come this far and break something when I was doing so well
Thanks.

Oops! I got it!
They are the lift-me-one-side type, but they need quite a brave amount of lift. They pull out quite nicely when you've lifted the tab enuff.
(I got a better look by rigging a platform next to the driver's door - a couple of spare wheels with a board and a sunbed mattress. Quite comfy in the end and an excellent observation platform. Saves removing the driver's seat.)
