C3 Starting and cutting out

Hi I have this C3 1.4 petrol 2007, It starts and runs great for about 5/10 seconds and then cuts out, I can keep it running by playing with the accelerator pedal, until it gets warm . probably going in to closed loop. then it idles quite nice, I have checked the fuel pressure and that is good.


I have 2 fault codes
P0598 Controlled thermostat signal short to earth or open circuit
P01676 Controlled Alternator control

Where do I start to correct these codes?.

Would any of these cause my problems

I would appreciate any advice,

I would start by carefully checking all the fuses, both under-bonnet and inside the car. The fault codes that you list smell to me of a blown fuse.
