Peugeot’s 407 clutch noise.

Hi all. I have a 407sw 2.0hdi and there is a problem with the clutch. It makes an awful grinding noise when the clutch pedal is depressed. It won’t go into gear or move. Help!!

Sounds like the release bearing has broken up, and the clutch fork is now pressing direct on the clutch fingers. Time to get the 'box out!!
