Citroen Xsara aftermarket reversing sensors

Evening all, first post here. Have owned several French cars, mostly Peugeot and have just picked up a 1999 Xsara 1.6 with 68000 miles on the clock.
All seems ok so far.
I'm a bit of tinkerer and would like to fit aftermarket reversing sensors; has anyone done this to a 1999 model?
Any tips etc?

Get a set of cheap ones off eBay for £12 quid. They come with a hole saw bit. I fitted these two a Meriva and a 207 with no ill effects.

Thanks. Yes I've got a set. Paid £7.89. How do u feed the wires from the bumper up to the rear lights?

When Michel and I did it on the Meriva we found there was a wiring hole (with a rubber edge protector) that led in from the bumper to the interior (and, IIRC, this is where the number plate light wiring came through).

Ok thank you, I'll get the bumper at the weekend and see what I can see. I've just ordered a Haynes manual to try and work out the reversing light cable colour. Thankd

Any other advice. I couldn't get the bumper off.. but I can't see where the wires will go?
