C5 X7 seats

Unread post by milleplod »

Does anyone know if the rear seats in an Executive saloon are the same as those in an Executive tourer please? I'm assuming they're not, but wondered if anyone could confirm please. :)

Hi Pete

The only real differences are:
A) With Rear Armrest And W/O Boot Tidy
B) Without Rear Armrest And With Net + Removable Storage Compartment In Boot
C) With Rear Armrest And With Net + Removable Storage Compartment In Boot

So only the Tourer had the option of the cage fixing and the rear storage compartment and was available with or without the central armrest.

And
D) Separate to this, whether the optional thorax lateral airbag cushions were specified - although these are separate parts and are the outer side bolsters. These should be detectable by some wiring though.

That is the only material differences I can see comparing the 2 together - apart from the fabric trim and colours.

Hi Marc.

Many thanks. I'd found a set of full leather saloon ones for sale, the seller said they were good for my tourer, but I wanted to be sure. And now I'm sure, I've talked myself out of them as they're too far away!

At least you know now! So the Saloon version won't have any place for the dog guard / cage thingyamybob whatitsname to use the technical description, that the Tourer version can have.
