How to deactivate my citroen c5 when the economy is active

Hi, please I was fixing my car and forgot
That the car key was in the ignition when the
Battery head was removed, since then the car is in economy mode and has refused to start. Please what will be done to make the car functioning again. Please is there anyone with useful information about this problem. God bless you all.

Hi - that is not economy mode - that sounds like you have not followed the battery disconnect / BSI reset procedure before removing the battery and this has upset the electronics, so you immobiliser / transponder may have gone into anti scanning mode. Try the reset procedure below.

Yep - economy mode should just clear when you re-start the car.
So sounds like something else is at play that is preventing you from restarting it in the first place.
