1.6 Hdi injector copper seals

I've searched for an answer to this without success. The 1.6 Hdi rebuild slowly continues- the head is back from the machine shop and I await better weather!
Citroen Service site shows 2 options for the injector seals:
1981 85. So far as I can make out this is the standard seal, 16 od x 7 id x 2. Colour copper
1981 73. Listed as a repair washer, 16 od x 7.3 id x 2.4. Colour purple

Ok, here's the diagram and order:

The diesel injector (2)
The bracket (7)
The diesel injector-carrier sleeves (3)
The sealing ring (6)
The copper seal (4)

So the part numbers are correct and this is where they fit. They say that if it is necessary to replace the copper seal, then there is a special tool that goes down into the well, is tightened and this is used to extract it - as below - but may not be necessary...

Slacken the tool [6] by a few turns.
Fit the tool [6] on the copper seal (4) in the diesel injector well .
Tighten the bolt of the tool [6] fully to immobilise the copper seal (4).
Remove the copper seal (4) by manoeuvring the tool [6].

Ok Marc, and thanks. It is item 4 in the top pic that is of interest. It would appear that there are 2 options with different dimensions.
The 2 part nos. are in my first post.

I have no problem with removing the old seals- the head is off and the seats are being refaced!

From what I can see they are not the same part - but complimentary, so it's not one or the other:

1981 85 These are the seals and are sold for £0.79p each inc.
ENGINE INJECTOR SEAL
7,3/16 EP 2 CN

1981 73 These are the actual copper washers and are in a pack of 4 priced at £8.80 inc.
01 SET OF 4 INJEC REPAIR WASHERS
7,3/16 EP 2,4-REPAR

Probably kept together as may be needed if replacing the old injectors.

The repair washers are slightly thicker & should be used if the head has been skimmed. If the head is skimmed the injectors will protrude out the head more so the thicker washers take this up.

wheeler- that makes a lot of sense. My head has been skimmed, but no metal was removed- just a check and clean up.
I wonder why the inside diameter of the thicker washer is slightly greater.

You would also use them if the injector seat had to be re cut for the same reason.
Not sure why the slightly bigger internal diameter.

With this variation in inside diameters nagging at me, it has made me aware of a bigger problem.
The diameter of the injector nozzle hole in the head is 7.8 mm.
The inside diameter of my seat cutter is 8.0 mm.
So it follows that the cutter is not addressing the whole of the seat area, but leaving a small lip in the centre not touched.
Now what?!

I've found an answer to this possible lip formation. Because the cutter is held in place by a single grub screw on one side of the centre post, this causes the cutter to rotate very slightly off centre/concentrically.
The whole of the seat gets swept- and the 'lip' does not occur.
The next issue- I am beginning to think that this cutter will not be able to actually recut the seat. So far I have only been able to clear the high spots.
