i have a noisy pulley on my 2000 xsara 1.4i mk1 and i believe its a tensioner type but has a allan key type bolt at the centre
i think it has a bolt runner at the top and bottom hopefulley u can see the pic attached
i just want to know if its possible to change the pulley alone or do i need to change the unit
could i have instruction to do either of these please as i cant afford a garage at the moment and im pretty much a novice

If you can source the pulley roller, you can change it. Price the whole assembly first. If it is too expensive, search for the roller. You will have to do detective work, less it is commonly sold separately. It could be on other assembly's. It could be a one off and hard to find.
In the past I have bought the bearings for similar rollers and pressed the old one out, and new one in.
This may or may not be possible with yours.
