BX/Xantia - exhausting work this conversion

Hi Folks, im in need of some help.
This is the last (current) problem before i get my very own 16v back on the road again. The exhaust i was going to use wont fit this car (its a Xantia one), worked fine on my old car, but not the new one.
Basically i need to know what the size of the exhaust to manifold opening on a 1.7TD exhaust. I suspect this will fit, but no one can actually tell me. to help its 'd' in the picture below!

about 7.3 cm.
Rough measurement using plastic ruler, sorry.[:D]
Anyway, the BX1.7Td downpipe will fit. How do I know this? Well all Xantia 1.TD's upto RP 7692 used the same manifold as a BX 1.7TD (Cit 34157), and also, the front fitting kit which includes the "Brillo" ring is the same part number, 179774 for BX TD and Xantia TD.

Vanny My original system fitted the pug manifold straight off,you may need the shorter bolts from BX as they didnt. I am removing another full BX Turbo exhaust system tomorrow if you need, I also have front pipes ex 405td and Xantia TD if you need to make up.
Havent you got the thing on the road yet???

If only you knew the number of hold ups there have been. I now order my Citroen parts from the dealer in chester directly over the internet, starting to get on really good terms with them!
Still got to figure out the front offside hub carrier, its soo rusted the bearing will not come out. Hoping i can find somewhere with a press tomorro/wednesday and then, all being well i should have it on the road soonish?

I assume you mean a 1.9 TD, cos the TZD is pretty common round here! And if it is the TD then i still hold the world first crown

Aiming for worlds first BX with Diravi next, followed by the worlds first HDI (probably a 2.8HDi if i can find a 4tc shell to stick it in

Apparently someone has a Ferrari engined 16v so we are sad really, then again I was looking at the Iveco..........

vanny ive still got about 3 TXD exausts and 1 brand new 16v one your welcome to have should you need them
