Mk2 Dispatch Scudo Expert

Post by RPWC »

What is the mileage and time limit for cambelt on these, and is there a difference in the mileage between the 1:6 and 2:0.? I Know the mk1 1.9 is 70;000 miles or 8 years.
Still on the look out for one for these, have a potential buyer for my Transit, but not until June

the 1.6hdi is approx 150k the 2.0hdi is 120k approx or 10 years for both.

I've done a couple of 2.0hdi at around 100k and to the eye the belts looked very good.

Ive never known of either snap before the service date but that is just me.

Im not 100% sure but i do know Fiat do tend to fit their own engines and ive looked at some images of that engine and it looks totally different.

Just looked on a review website, and it is the same engine, the review said the engine is taken from the Peugeot/Citroen variant.

Cant see that being the case, they are hardly likely to utilise just the block. I will contact a Fiat dealer and ask tomorrow.
