Good evening
I’ve got a 56 plate Xsara Picasso. Owned it for 6 years during which time it has given me very little in the way of trouble.
The week before Christmas the ABS non-function warning appeared on the dash. I’d had this once before & traces it to a faulty wheel speed sensor. Replaced it, fault cleared, happy days.
I assumed this could be a similar case.
Within a couple of days later it wouldn’t start. Battery was flat as a pancake. Charged it up over night only for it to go down again within 2 days.
Popped a new battery on but had the same again.
I’ve done a drain test but only saw a draw of about 0.03a once everything settled down.
Last week a friend with a diagbox read the faults for me.
It showed 3 wheel sensors faults (which seems rather unlikely) and something about ‘main relay fault’.
Initial thought is that a relay to the ABS is sticking on.
I’ve had a poke about under the bonnet & read through dozens of forum posts but can’t locate said relay.
Can anyone offer any advice?

Does anybody ha r a pin out for the ABS plug?
There’s a multi page document of wiring diagrams hosted on a couple of sites but the pins don’t bare any resemblance to mine.

Re: Xsara Picasso ABS & battery problems
Thanks again.
All points to the ABS module. There’s a few at local breakers albeit with slightly different part numbers but it looks like they’re cross compatible.

Re: Xsara Picasso ABS & battery problems
You need to watch them as there are completely different versions according to equipement ABS / ESP - so be aware - always replace with the same part or you will likely have issues - they are not all the same and will have to code anything different.
