Yes, thought nostalgic confectionary could be a decent enough memory jerker following on from the appearance of a sherbet fountain, and a packet of candy cigarettes on this thread.
The minature topic bar got booted out of "Celebrations" in 2006, presumably because it was always the one which was left!
Remember the Aztec Bar

Toffo trivia
The toffee lover, particularly in the North would get literally stuck into something like this
Sure there was a banana toffee bar from McCowans I used to like.
Regards Neil
There were different flavours.Mackintosh's Toffo was first launched in 1939. Each tube contained 11 sweets. The Toffo slogan in the 1970's was "A man's gotta chew what a man's gotta chew - Go get 'em Floyd". This badge was a promotion around 1979

Very occasionally a packet of these things would arrive following a trip down to the Newsagent to get the football pink.
Bit exotic really

How about a gentle brain workout....now if you looked at the side of the packet and saw ether, liquorice and chloroform on the ingredients list you may not have given these a try!
Regards Neil
If you know off the top of your head 10 points, if you generously take your time and use the internet I have to dock 1 point, but thanks for your curiosity-it's the joining in that counts!Originally manufactured in Nelson, Lancashire, they were devised by Thomas Fryer and Edward Smith MD in the mid-19th century and were initially made by hand to ensure that each sweet contained the correct amount of therapeutic ingredients; ether, liquorice and chloroform.
