citroen xsara picasso ...... P0245

Unread post by landy39offroad »

Hi all new member so be gentle ....plz...lol.
ok so got a 06 citroen xsara picasso 1.6 turbo diesel and she's gone into limp mode(i say she as she is as bad as the wife) .... put code reader on and it comes up with code P0245 turbocharger wastegate solenoid A low ..... so ordered and replaced unit to be on the safe side, cleared the codes and still the same ...... measured voltage and it's only 3.4v at the plug ... my question is ... should the voltage not be 12v.
also can anyone link me a wiring diagram so i can trace the wires back to check if it's earthing out and to also check an other solenoid it may be tied into, and finally could anyone link me to a diagram as to how the vac pipes go back on as the person who took them off didn't take note as to how they where place so i had to guess what went were ..... sorry for the long post but i find the more info you give the better the understanding of the problem.

cheers Tony.

Hi Tony, welcome to the Forum.

Have you used a generic code reader - they can only provide limited information and a fault code like that can be related to something entirely different - hence possible by changing the part it has not resolved the issue. Let's see what other responses you get first, but otherwise getting a Lexia diagnostic will be your best next move. Members with Lexia kits willing to help are here - and a map at the bottom:

Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
