Been thinking my Activa is not level for a bit now so looked on my flatish work carpark . You can see from the picture she is not well, she seems to drop like shown (passenger side drops), then you hear the accumulator sphere go tick tick tick tick then you see the passenger side rise, then it very slowly over the next 45 seconds drops then you hear the tick tick tick tick again in the endless cycle. So is this a worn part, needs calibration, low pressure?

The first thing I would do would be to check the amount of leak back into the LHM tank.

Check the Activa accumulator under the battery tray... It is often missed and odds are your has and is either as flat as a pancake or ruptured...
The Activa Accumulator is of the same pattern as an Anti-Sink sphere and one can be used as a substitute despite the correct Activa Accumulator needs to be blown up to 62 bars and a standard A-S sphere is 50 bars...
Also check your main accumulator...
If all of that does not fix, force permanent hard mode by pulling the Hydractive ECU fuse and see if the symptoms change; this may indicate you have very high leakage in the Hydractive electrovalves...

Hi.
All the spheres were replaced, purchased from that same website. I had all the old ones returned to me by the garage who changed them, so they were definitely done. Of course they could have failed since, but I'd be surprised.
I'd be looking at the control rods and bushes - I changed them shortly after I got the car (in 2008), so they may be due for replacement. Or else a good wiggle and clean.
