Citroen C5 X7 help please

Unread post by C5_Jack »

Hello All

After my altercation with a deer, the car is finally being reassembled.

The headlight fixing is still puzzling me.

Could someone send / posts pictures of under bonnet specifically around the headlights?

Cheers

Jack, glad the car is on the mend. Can you be a bit more specific - as there are so many parts? Are you concerned with bumper removal or headlamp fitting specifically?

Hello Marc

It has been a long fight and it's not won yet.
I have still have to resolve the issues with the insurance

If i remembrer correctly you have access to Service Citroen?

What I need to check what are the fixings used to attached part 4 7416 Bumper Range Support to the various item under.
Service Citroen is vague about it.

I have attached a couple of pictures which shows the part i mean

Jack - check your email in a few minutes - I have sent you the complete bumper refitting documents that should help you. - and includes these parts below:

As for the top part of the plastic it would indicate you need some of the press studs 82 and screws 84. 82 to go along the sides to keep the associated side trim parts on that cover the headlights so they can easily be removed to get to the bulbs etc. and the screws (84) to hold on the main part 4 to the rest.

But look in the docs which should be with you now for further explanation - I hope.

Hello Marc

This is most useful information
Thank you very much :-D
It seems I am missing the left hand side recirculation baffle.
Will replace it next time the front bumper needs to be removed

Thank again

Jack
