Whats the diff between Hydractive and non Hydractive suspension, and how do i tell which one the car has.
M plate Xantia 1.9 TD (sorry cant give model type yet).
Being thick again, sorry n'other Xantia Q

Hydractive is computer controlled suspension that can switch between 'hard' and 'soft' mode by isolating or including a third sphere on each axle. Available on VSX Xantias - easiest way to tell is to look for the switch next to the handbrake with a wheel and spring on it. In sport position, the point at which it switches to hard mode is made earlier (based on body roll, steering input etc etc).
