C5 Facelift Lack of Power on Hills 2.0 HDI 136BHP

Unread post by Garryg163 »

Hi folks, got a nice C5 (MkII 55 plate) but it is breathless on anything more than a slight incline. Its only covered 35K miles.

I had a C5 MkI Estate with similar problems that was sorted by swapping out the MAF Sensor. So I dutifully did same but to no avail.

Any Ideas would very much be appreciated.

Also, where is the members list that have a Lexia they are willing to share locally please?

I am in Walsall West Mids

Thanks in advance and Merry Xmas!

Yep, that thing should definitely not be breathless! I have a 110bhp but drove a facelift 136bhp model and was well impressed with how it got along down the road...
Hopefully there's someone near you that can help with lexia.
My first guess might be something like blocked dpf, stuck egr valve or blocked intake filter...
